These mentoring programs comply with all Memphis Mentoring Partnership standards and staff members have completed MMP Program Development Training or the  Equivalent.

  • Boys and Girls Clubs of Greater Memphis One-on-one and group mentoring after school hours at several Boys and Girls Club locations in Memphis.

  • U.S. Dream Academy, Inc., provides support to children who have a parent or family member incarcerated. Mentoring takes place at three community centers throughout the area to offer friendship and academic resources. This Memphis branch of a nationally -acclaimed organization seeks to break the chain of intergenerational incarceration and offer each child the dream of a bright future.

  • MIFA Teen Job Services focuses on career development for young people, serving 14 to 16 year-olds living in the 38126 and 38104 zip codes.  The program offers the opportunity to earn paychecks and pride with year-round jobs, helps teens establish positive habits and gain real-world employment experience, and develop new skills.

  • Project AWARE Mentoring Program Serves society's most forgotten victims...children of incarcerated parents through one-on-one mentoring at program location as well as off-site activities. A Project of Families of Incarcerated Individuals.

  • MPD Juvenile Violence Abatement Project /Westwood Co-Act is a strategic, community based, anti-violence initiative sponsored by the City of Memphis via the Memphis Police Department, which is specifically designed  to reduce the amount of violence experienced by Memphis youth.  The JVAP/Westwood Co-Act serves approximately 100 youth, ages 11-18, living in the 38109 zip code with various programs such as educational field trips, Grizzlies games, and other social activities each week.

Associate Members

These mentoring programs have developed a written plan for compliance with MMP Quality Assurance Standards and staff members have attended MMP Program Development Training or the equivalent. Associate members must make progress each year towards achieving Accredited Membership status within three years.

Affiliated Members

These organizations have an interest in mentoring and accreditation but either do not have a mentoring program in place or have not yet begun work towards accreditation.
